Silver Jewelry Making Workshop, Workshop13, Ware, MAWe are so excited to be offering a Silver Jewelry Making Workshop being taught by jewelry maker Bevlynn. In this one day class you will learn how to make pure silver jewelry without hammering or soldering. We will use Precious Metal Clay (PMC®) which is a clay-like material made of extremely tiny particles of pure silver, water and a nontoxic binder. It can be molded, textured, and layered with simple tools to make pendants, earrings, charms and beads. The work is dried and fired in a kiln where the binder is burned away to leave a unique object that is 100% pure silver. You will have enough PMC to make 2 pair of earrings and a small pendant. No experience needed to have fun!
Bevlynn is a certified PMC (Precious Metal Clay) instructor who originally was a bench jeweler but now works in metal clay and teaches in Western MA.
