Reading from Local Authors!

It’s magical when you get a chance to hear an author read from their masterpieces! And that is exactly what will happen on June 5th from 6:30-9:00 pm.

Local authors Suzanne Strempek Shea and M.P. Barker will read and talk about their newest books.

Bondsville resident Suzanne has just launched her tenth book, “This Is Paradise: An Irish Mother’s Grief, an African Village’s Plight and the Medical Clinic That Brought Fresh Hope to Both,” which chronicles the story of Mags Riordan and the Billy Riordan Memorial Clinic in Malawi, which she created in memory of a son who drowned in that country while on vacation.

M.P., of East Longmeadow, has just launched her second novel, “Mending Horses,” a historical novel set in 19th-century New England about three misfits—a peddler, a young runaway, and an Irish horse whisperer—who mend each other’s broken lives as they heal a traveling circus’s mistreated ponies. Books will be available for sale and signing.
