One of the reasons Roc has had a successful career for so many years in illustration is his ability to work in different techniques and mediums. In a series of three courses he will share with you many of them.
In this first course we will explore (his favorite) the very important pencil and its relationship with paper. Everything begins here. So, forget everything you thought you knew and enter the class with an open mind. You’ll love it!
If you’re interested in learning to create digital images on the computer that emulate natural mediums (pencil, oils, and watercolors) or simply taking your recreational painting into the digital sphere, here’s great 101 course for your edification.
Painting digitally is significantly different from painting with brushes. This kick-off course in digital painting will provide you with a broad overview of those differences. At the end of this course you will make a beautiful Giclee print of your digital painting.
This Beginner Adobe Photoshop 101 class is the first course in the Workshop13 Photoshop Lesson Plan. Even though this class is designed to introduce you to the program, we suggest this course to anyone who is not well-versed in Photoshop. Photoshop is an elaborate program, so it’s crucial that you learn the basics before the intricacies.
The Beginner course will introduce you to Adobe Photoshop, and the basic tools of the program. Even if you have used the software before, we still recommend this course to anyone who does not have a firm grasp on the basic functions. You will learn through actual illustration projects.
Note: Please bring a laptop with a version of Photoshop if you have one
